Function Description
The POL block evaluates the polynomial of the form:

y = a_{0} + a_{1} u + a_{2} u^{2} + a_{3} u^{3} + a_{4} u^{4} + a_{5} u^{5} + a_{6} u^{6} + a_{7} u^{7} + a_{8} u^{8} .
